The District Aviation Quiz competition 2017 was held on the 30th of September 2017 from 9.00 A.M to 4.00 P.M. along with the partnership of SriLankan Airlines LTD at the Airline Center, Bandaranaike International Airport - Katunayake. 38 different schools from 3 different districts across the country participated at this event and Ananda College Colombo emerged champions while securing the grand prize of LKR 100,000. Thurstan College Colombo managed to secure runners up with a prize of 50,000 LKR while Nalanda College Colombo emerged as 2nd Runners up with a prize of LKR 25,000. All Participants were challenged with many aspects relating to the aviation industry while experts from the industry were present to give their insights as to the careers relating to the field of aviation.
